Ho provato il nuovo tool di Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool per il rilevamento e rimozione di virus.
Naturalmente non è stato rilevato nessun virus :(
Alcune info:
- Sistemi operativi supportati Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003
- La lista dei virus viene aggiornata ogni mese, più precisamente il secondo martedì di ogni mese.
- Il metodo di rilevamento è scan detect
- Vengono rilevati i più comuni virus Win32/Berbew, Win32/Doomjuice, Win32/Gaobot, Win32/Msblast, Win32/Mydoom, Win32/Nachi, Win32/Sasser, Win32/Zindos (la UI del tool permette di ottenere informazioni dettagliate sulle caratteristiche di ciascuno dei virus per il quale viene effettuato lo scan)

Sono ritornato a casa da qualche giorno, dopo una breve vacanza in cui mi sono pure ammalato. Non avendo fatto auguri a nessuno tramite blog, riporto una 'poesiola' tratta dall'ultimo MSDN TV dell'anno 2004 recitata da Don Box e Chris Anderson.
The Year Before Longhorn
This was the year before Longhorn, when all through the land

As bug counts that before the testers they fly

Ormai è un mese che uso il mio T-Mobile MDA sia come telefono che come navigatore (meno come palmare). Il telefono riceve bene anche dove non c'è un campo fondoscala. Ho sentito parecchia gente lamentarsi per la qualità sonora dal Qtek, io onestamente non ho avuto problemi a riguardo. Ammetto però che per farvi sentire decentemente è necessario parlare ad alta voce (non intendo urlare, ma neppure bisbigliare) e con la bocca in direzione del microfono, mentre con l'auricolare 'stereo' tutto fila liscio.
Per quanto riguarda i soft-reset che inizialmente erano moltissimi, ora che sto 'imparando' ad utilizzare il palmare devo ammettere che si sono ridotti drasticamente.
Nei giorni di Natale-Capodanno ho apprezzato particolarmente la scrittura degli sms tramite il tastierino. E' semplice utilizzarlo, rapido. Penso che comunque l'utilizzo del tasterino non riuscirà a escludere quello del pennino. Forse anche in questo caso con il passare del tempo riuscirò a utilizzare tutti i tasti (anche quelli con funzioni speciali) che mi permetteranno forse di eliminare l'uso del pennino se non completamente almeno in date condizioni.
